About currikon

The Curriculum API.

Why

Sixteen German states, the KMK, Austria, Zürich, Luxembourg and the US Common Core each publish their own standards, and none of them as data. Teachers can't compare competencies across borders. Publishers can't map content to standards programmatically. International frameworks like CASE exist, but nobody has applied them to these curricula.

currikon fixes this by providing a single, structured, searchable API that spans jurisdictions and countries — with cross-state mappings powered by national standards.

What

  • 21 official curricula — 16 German states, KMK, Austria, Zürich, Luxembourg and the US Common Core
  • Cross-jurisdiction mappings via LLM-assisted alignment to national standards
  • CASE v1.1 export for international interoperability
  • Full-text search with SQLite FTS5 + AI-powered alignment
  • TypeScript SDK with full type safety and autocomplete
  • Spiderpus — Spiderpus, our operator. Eight tentacles, 21 curricula.
